Announcement

The Suffolk Spice Company is now closed.

I am sad to announce that The Suffolk Spice Company, as we know it, has come to an end for now.

Over the past 9 years we have had a good deal of fun and I have met many wonderful people who have shared my passion for spices and food in general.

In addition, the spirit of camaraderie amongst my fellow artisan traders on the markets during the cold, wet, snow and even occasionally glorious sunshine, has been an experience I will always look back on with great fondness.

However, away from the markets, 2024 was a very tough year.  A year of change and family pressures has meant our focus has had to shift somewhat and recent events have shown me that in the coming years I am going to be very busy elsewhere both physically and emotionally. As a consequence something had to give and unfortunately I just knew I was not going to be unable to give the Spice Company and its wonderful customers the care and attention they deserve.

I want to thank everyone who has supported us of the last 9 years and I hope that we have all gained a little joy from the experience.
